Job Title: HGV Technician

Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and experienced HGV Technician to join our busy workshop in Middlewich. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining, diagnosing, and repairing a range of heavy goods vehicles to ensure they remain safe, reliable, and compliant with all current regulations.

Key Responsibilities
- Carry out inspection, maintenance, and repair of HGVs and trailers
- Perform diagnostics and fault finding using modern diagnostic equipment
- Complete routine servicing and preventative maintenance
- Ensure all work is completed to DVSA and manufacturer standards
- Maintain accurate service and repair records
- Identify additional repair requirements and report them to management
- Work efficiently to minimise vehicle downtime
- Follow all health and safety procedures in the workshop
Requirements
- Proven experience working as an HGV Technician / HGV Mechanic
- Relevant NVQ Level 3 / City & Guilds in Heavy Vehicle Maintenance (or equivalent)
- Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Good attention to detail and commitment to high standards
- HGV licence (Class 1 or 2) beneficial but not essential
