We’re looking for an Appointeeship Officer to help vulnerable adults manage their finances safely and independently.
This is a role where every detail matters — from paying bills on time to making sure someone has stability, security and peace of mind.
What you’ll be doing
- Managing a caseload and handling day-to-day financial tasks
- Paying bills, setting up direct debits and monitoring accounts
- Keeping clear, accurate financial records
- Working closely with families, care providers and professionals
- Supporting people to understand their financial situation
- Ensuring safeguarding, GDPR and compliance standards are met
What we’re looking for
You’ll need:
- Strong organisation and attention to detail
- Confidence working with numbers and financial processes
- Great communication skills and a calm, empathetic approach
- Experience in administration or finance
- Good IT skills (including Excel)
It would be great if you also have:
- Experience in social care, housing or working with vulnerable people
- Knowledge of benefits or DWP processes
- Experience managing money on behalf of others
