We are seeking a dedicated Kitchen Porter / Cleaner to join our team. Responsibilities
- Washing and sanitising dishes, utensils, pots, and pans efficiently
- Assisting with basic food preparation tasks as required
- Ensuring the cleanliness of kitchen surfaces, floors, and equipment
- Organising storage areas and disposing of waste appropriately
- Supporting chefs and kitchen staff with their daily routines
- Maintaining high standards of hygiene and safety in line with health regulations
- Restocking supplies and ensuring the kitchen remains well-organised throughout service periods
Qualifications
- Previous experience in food preparation, cooking, or hospitality is advantageous but not essential
- Experience working in restaurants, hotels, or catering environments is desirable
- Knowledge of kitchen safety and hygiene standards
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure during busy periods
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
- A positive attitude and willingness to learn new skills within a team environment
