What You Will Be Doing:
- To be responsible for the operational security staff working at customer sites during their shifts. To have a full understanding of the functions covered at all sites including: Security, CCTV, Reception etc.
- To ensure that all security staff conduct their duties in the appropriate manner and to manage performance issues as they occur in line with company policy and statutory requirements.
- To effectively deploy staff using our RotaGuard system. Confirming duty shifts with staff and ensuring RotaGuard is accurate.
- To ensure during site visits that all operational staff are wearing the appropriate uniform and that it is maintained at the high standard expected by the company and its customers.
- To conduct regular site visits to ensure that the Task Schedules and Assignment Instructions are maintained and are fully understood by the security officers and that site patrols are carried out correctly and any defaults are reported to Director of Security Guarding.
- To produce reports for the Regional Manager detailing duties carried out and information from the sites that affects customer service or morale of the security officers.
- To act as Duty Manager when required.
- To report any incidents to the Regional Manager and record in an incident report as soon as practically possible and follow the escalation procedure.
- To provide guarding cover on sites if required.
- To assist Payroll to ensure waging and invoicing is correct.
- To control holidays and sickness absence to ensure appropriate cover of shifts, service levels are maintained and budgetary implications are minimised.
- Play and active role in ensuring all staff book on and off using Rotaguard or any other system.
- To recruit, deploy and develop new members of staff and actively performance manage staff on site to maintain high levels of service.
- To ensure Health & Safety and Quality policies are adhered to
- To provide support to Regional Manager and office staff to ensure that the standard of service is maintained and carry out ad hoc duties as required.
