The short version
You'll be the calm, knowledgeable voice customers hear when something's gone wrong with their car — working alongside the Customer Care Team to sort it out and keep people properly informed along the way.
What you'll actually be doing
- Talking to customers by phone, and by email — always aiming for a genuinely good experience
- Working with our repair specialists to figure out priorities
- Keeping an eye on work in progress and chasing things up when needed
- Flagging non-conforming vehicles or issues to the Customer Care Manager
- Liaising with the Production Team on anything affecting timescales
- Keeping customers updated on how their repair is going
- Administering warranty claims properly, helping keep aftersales costs down
- Logging every customer query, concern, or complaint efficiently and professionally
- Diarising complaints so every customer gets a timely response
- Managing loan car bookings, paperwork, and controls
- Paying vendor invoices and reconciling with finance outlets
- Booking appointments for customers and internal vehicles
What we're looking for
- Technical knowledge of Cars.
- Confident using Outlook
- Strong written and verbal communication
- Great interpersonal skills — you build rapport easily, get stuck in, and solve problems rather than escalate them
- At least 2 years in a similar role
