We are seeking a dedicated, analytically sharp Compliance & Regulatory Research Intern to support the development and enhancement of our digital compliance platform. Duties & Responsibilities
Drawing on our platform's core needs and best practices in compliance management, the intern will:
- Regulatory Research & Scanning: Conduct deep-dive research into upcoming UK regulatory, tax, and compliance updates specifically impacting sole traders, freelancers, and micro-businesses.
- Compliance Logic Mapping: Support the team by deconstructing complex legislative frameworks into clean, sequential, and step-by-step logic maps to inform and update platform feature sets.
- Risk & Trend Analysis: Collaborate on identifying common compliance pitfalls and audit triggers for independent workers, translating complex legal risks into concise, high-value user guidelines.
- Documentation & Repository Management:Help maintain internal compliance records and organize our platform's underlying regulatory documentation to ensure it remains accurate, comprehensive, and up to date.
- Continuous Improvement: Participate in strategic review sessions to evaluate current compliance workflows and suggest logic enhancements based on shifting industry standards.

- Autonomous Drive & Self-Management: Highly disciplined and self-motivated, with a proven ability to manage 14 hours of independent, remote project work each week without direct day-to-day supervision.
- Tech-Literate: Proficiency in standard digital workspaces (Microsoft Office Suite, shared document repositories) and an interest in how technology solves traditional legal challenges.
