Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Area Sales Executive to join our expanding sales team working in the stone industry promoting and selling our range of Quartz and Ceramic slabs to stone fabricators across the Midlands and South. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and maintaining strong relationships with clients within primarily the Midlands and then extending down South, driving sales growth, and representing our brand professionally.
With a basic starting salary of £30k per year, there is significant opportunity to earn high rates of commission for the right candidate. You will receive commission for every slab that you sell.
Duties
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities within assigned geographical areas to expand our client base.
- Manage existing client accounts, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and retention.
- Analyse market trends and competitor activities to inform strategic planning and optimise sales approaches.
- Lead negotiations and close deals effectively, ensuring mutually beneficial agreements.
- Collaborate with internal teams such as marketing and product development to align sales initiatives with organisational goals.
- Provide regular reports on sales performance, forecasts, and market insights to senior management.
Experience
- Proven track record in B2B sales, preferably within the relevant industry sector preferred but not essential - a positive attitude holds just as much weight to us.
- Strong analysis skills to interpret sales data, market trends, and customer feedback for strategic decision-making.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to build long-term relationships with clients.
- Proactive approach to problem-solving and team development.
