The Table Cafe, our lovely independent restaurant, is looking for new front of house staff to join our team in our site in Southwark

Job description:
- Customer Service: Strong focus on providing excellent, attentive, and friendly service.
- Communication: Active listening and effective communication skills for taking orders and interacting with guests and colleagues.
- Multitasking: Ability to manage multiple tables and tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
- Organization: Strong organizational skills for managing orders, payments, and table settings.
- Food Safety: Knowledge of and adherence to food safety and hygiene standards.
General Tasks:
- Cleaning and resetting tables
- Tracking cooking times on all food orders and checking them for appearance
- Performing all job duties while complying to all safety practices and guidelines
- Completing closing duties correctly at the end of each shift, resetting ready for next day service
- Performing all side work in the front and back of the restaurant as scheduled or assigned by the management
- Delivering orders to guests’ tables while the food is still hot and notifying waitstaff when orders are ready
- Taking customers orders, upselling and recommending dishes by having a extensive knowledge of our menu and of allergen procedure.
- Taking payments correctly and cashing off tables
- Asking for feedback and positive reviews from customers.
