A lovely primary school in the heart of Lambeth are looking for a SEND Teaching Assistant to join their school in September.
The Role
In this 1 to 1 Teaching Assistant role you will be supporting a child in year 5. The child has challenging behaviour and cognitive issues and would benefit from an experienced Teaching Assistant to support them in managing their emotions and interact with their peers. You will be supporting the child within the classroom with academic tasks and in some non-class based sessions. You will work closely with the class teacher and will be included in whole class activities and support the teacher with additional admin as required.
The school are ideally looking for someone with previous experience supporting young people with SEMH who have experienced Trauma. This role is to start in September and will continue for the whole academic year.
