We have a vacancy for a Teaching Assistant at our school. Your role will be to work as part of a professional team to support teaching and learning in one of our KS1 or KS2 year groups.
Job Details
Salary: WSCC Grade 4 SPT 5-6 £25,583 - £25,989, pro rata
Contract Type: Fixed term: 1.9.26-21.7.27
Working Pattern: Monday to Friday, 8:45-15:15 6hrs per day, 30 hrs per week
Location: Swiss Gardens Primary School, Shoreham-By-Sea
Closing Date: Monday 15 June 2026
Interviews: Friday 19 June 2026
What You Need to Succeed
Experience of working in KS1 & KS2 would be an advantage, but you may have other transferable skills! Work with children in all capacities will be considered and a recognised TA qualification is not essential. We are simply looking for a fun but fair individual who knows how to bring about the best in children. The role is currently fixed to the end of the academic year.
