We are looking for a dedicated Learning Support Assistant (LSA) to join us. Our hub provides a highly supportive setting for children with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and additional complex needs, ensuring they receive the personalised care and education they deserve.
About the Role:
As an LSA, you will:
- Support students with EHCPs (Educational Health Care Plans) who have ASD and additional SEND needs
- Work within busy classrooms, providing hands-on support in a structured setting
- Assist with personal care and feeding as part of the daily routine
- Help create an inclusive, positive, and engaging learning environment
- Work closely with teachers and therapists to implement individual learning and care plans
Who We’re Looking For:
- Experience is helpful but not essential – we provide training for the right person!
- A good understanding of SEN and a passion for supporting children with additional needs
- Patience, empathy, and resilience to meet the needs of high-support pupils
- A team player who thrives in a busy, fast-paced environment
