Job Overview
Chosen Care Group is looking for an experienced Operations Manager to oversee the operational performance, quality and compliance of services across our organisation.
The Operations Manager will report directly to the Chief Operations Officer and will provide leadership across multiple adult social care services, including Extra Care, Complex Care and Learning Disabilities services.
This is an excellent opportunity for a strong leader within adult social care who is ready to manage multiple services and drive service improvement.
Key Responsibilities of Operation Manager
- Provide operational leadership across multiple care services.
- Support Care Managers and senior staff to deliver high-quality, person-centred care.
- Ensure services operate in line with CQC regulations and relevant legislation.
- Monitor service performance and ensure key operational targets are met.
- Oversee audits, safeguarding processes and compliance standards.
- Manage operational budgets and ensure effective resource allocation.
- Maintain strong relationships with Local Authorities, commissioners and external stakeholders.
- Support service development and the mobilisation of new services.
Requirements
Essential requirements of Operations Manager
- NVQ Level 5 in Health & Social Care (or equivalent)
- Experience managing multiple care services
- Strong knowledge of CQC standards and regulatory compliance
- Leadership experience within adult social care
- Experience managing budgets and operational performance
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Full UK driving licence
Desirable requirements of Operations manager
- Experience supporting CQC inspections rated Good or Outstanding
- Experience working across Extra Care, Learning Disabilities or Complex Care services
