Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Truck Driver to join our logistics team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong commitment to safety and efficiency while delivering goods to various locations. This role requires operating curtainsider ,fridge trailers and ensuring timely deliveries, while maintaining the highest standards of professionalism and customer service.

LTD RATES:205£ per day 25£ night out
PAYE RATES-185£ per day 25£ night out
OR 17£ per hour , BRAKES ARE DEDUCTED.
Duties
- Safely operate lorries for the transportation of goods to designated locations.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure it is in safe working condition.
- Load and unload cargo, ensuring proper securing of loads to prevent damage during transit.
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and complete necessary paperwork for each delivery.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations, as well as company policies regarding safety and conduct.
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers and customers regarding delivery schedules and any potential delays.
- Provide excellent customer service by representing the company in a professional manner at all times.
Experience
- Proven experience in commercial driving, particularly with fridge trailers, is preferred.
- Previous experience as a delivery driver is advantageous.
- A valid HGV licence is essential, along with a clean driving record.
- Familiarity with route planning and navigation systems is beneficial.
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail are required to manage deliveries efficiently.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team, demonstrating reliability and punctuality.
