DriveStaff Recruitment is currently recruiting experienced Class 1 (C+E) Drivers for ongoing work based in Skelmersdale.
We have opportunities available on both 4 On 4 Off and 5 On 3 Off shift patterns across days and nights. With regular work, consistent earnings and immediate starts available, this is an excellent opportunity for drivers looking for stability and long-term work.
Whether you prefer trunking, store deliveries or general haulage, we have a variety of work available to suit experienced drivers.

The Role
As a Class 1 Driver, your duties may include:
- RDC trunking
- Depot-to-depot deliveries
- Store delivery work
- Vehicle checks and defect reporting
- Maintaining transport compliance standards
- Providing a professional service on behalf of the client
Work is planned in advance with regular routes and ongoing requirements throughout the year.
DriveStaff Requirements
To be considered for this role, you must:
- Hold a valid Class 1 (C+E) Licence
- Have held your Class 1 licence for a minimum of 6 months
- Have a minimum of 60 days Class 1 driving experience
- Hold a valid CPC Qualification Card
- Hold a valid Digital Tachograph Card
- Be over 21 years of age for insurance purposes
- Have no more than 9 penalty points
- Have no DD, DR or TT endorsements
- Demonstrate a professional and reliable attitude
