We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Health Care Assistant to join our team. Responsibilities
- Assist residents or clients with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, and mobility
- Support with meal preparation and feeding where necessary
- Help maintain personal hygiene and comfort of individuals under your care
- Follow individualised care plans to meet specific needs and preferences
- Monitor and report on the health status of clients, noting any changes or concerns
- Maintain accurate records of care provided and any incidents that occur
- Support with medication administration as directed by healthcare professionals
- Communicate effectively with team members, clients, and their families to ensure holistic care delivery
- Assist with light domestic tasks to promote a clean and safe environment
Skills
- Strong communication skills in English, both verbal and written
- Good IT skills for record keeping and documentation purposes
- Excellent organisational abilities to follow care plans accurately
- Compassionate attitude with a genuine desire to support others’ wellbeing
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Driving licence is advantageous for roles involving home care visits
- Previous experience in a care home or home care setting is desirable but not essential; training will be provided if needed

Pay: £24,420.00-£34,528.25 per year
