Daytime Chef – Brunch & Lunch Café

* £30,000–£36,000 depending on experience + tips
*Full-time | Daytime shifts | Weekend availability required
We’re looking for a talented, reliable chef to join our independent café in the heart of Ingleton.
We serve high-quality brunch and lunch using fresh ingredients, homemade specials, great coffee, and seasonal produce. This is a fast-paced but positive kitchen focused on excellent food and good service — without late nights or split shifts.
This role would suit:
- a strong café/brunch chef
- a sous chef wanting better work/life balance
- a pub or hotel chef looking to move into daytime hospitality
- someone creative who enjoys seasonal specials and fresh cooking
What you’ll be doing
- Running brunch and lunch service
- Preparing fresh ingredients and daily specials
- Maintaining high food standards and consistency
- Keeping the kitchen organised and clean
- Working closely with a small friendly team
- Helping develop seasonal menu ideas
What we’re looking for
- Experience in a professional kitchen
- Able to work calmly during busy services
- Organised, clean and reliable
- Good breakfast/brunch experience preferred
- Comfortable working independently when needed
- Positive attitude and team mentality
