The Energy Supermarket is one of the Uks biggest energy consultancies. As we continue to expand, we’re looking for ambitious, driven individuals to join our growing sales team.
This is a target-driven, consultative sales role where you’ll engage directly with business decision-makers, identify new opportunities, and support clients in securing tailored energy contracts. The opportunity
At The Energy Supermarket, no two days are ever the same. The energy market is constantly evolving. You’ll take ownership of generating new business while developing and managing your own client portfolio, working consultatively with businesses across the UK to identify cost-saving opportunities and deliver tailored energy solutions.

What exactly will you do?
- Connect with businesses – reach out directly to decision-makers, showcase TES’s services and solutions, and spark interest in smarter energy procurement.
- Understand client needs – dive into their current energy setup, uncover cost-saving opportunities, and provide tailored solutions that make a real impact.
- Support tenders and negotiations – partner with your closer to turn leads into winning contracts and secure the best deals for your clients.
- Manage your pipeline – build and maintain strong client relationships, act as their main point of contact, and spot opportunities for renewals or additional business. Management will support with all customers commercial discussions.
- Follow best practices – comply with all company policies and procedures to maintain professionalism and consistency.
You’ll receive 1.5 week of intensive onboarding with our highly experienced coaching specialists. During this time, you’ll gain thorough industry knowledge and hands-on sales training, preparing you fully for success on the sales floor. By the end of the program, you’ll be ready to confidently engage clients and start building your own portfolio. Daily, weekly, and monthly training is provided, no matter how good your performance, to ensure you’re constantly supported.
What we’re looking for
- A willingness to learn and succeed in outbound sales — experience in B2B or high-performing B2C is a plus, but not essential as full training is provided.
- Excellent communication skills, especially over the phone — confident, professional, and persuasive.
- The ability to stay calm and focused under pressure, with a drive to hit and exceed targets.
- Strong organisational skills, able to manage your own workload and keep a clear sales pipeline.
- High motivation and ambition, with a genuine desire to succeed and grow in a results-driven environment.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: £25,000.00-£35,000.00 per year
