Think neon lights, banging playlists, Aperol on tap, and pizza slices flying out faster than you can say “another round!” We’re all about bringing people together - whether it’s around a table, over the bar, or behind the scenes with our team. You’re the unsung hero of the kitchen - the one who keeps things running smoothly, the prep machine, the sauce whisperer, the clean-down champion.
At Social by Matto, we’re on the hunt for someone who’s fast, focused, and loves the buzz of a busy kitchen.
What you’ll be doing:
Chopping, prepping, frying - basically keeping the kitchen flowing
Owning your station like a pro
Keeping the place spotless - hygiene and organisation are the name of the game
Teaming up with pizza chefs, bartenders, and front of house to make sure every order flies out on point
Staying cool under pressure - we like our kitchens hot, not our tempers
What we’re looking for:
Previous kitchen experience in a high-pressure setting
A love for food, flavour, and getting stuck in
Someone who brings great energy, is easy to work with, and doesn’t take themselves too seriously
Good communication skills and a team-first attitude
Flexibility to work evenings and weekends - we’re at our busiest when everyone else is out having fun
