Multi Trader / Tiler – Building Services Team

With an ever-growing demand for building project and service work, we are now looking to bring new and talented members into our Building Services Team.
Summary
We are seeking an experienced Multi Trader & Tiler to join our dynamic team.
The role will involve working across Surrey, London, and local parts of Sussex and Kent, with the majority of works located within 10 miles of our office postcode KT3 4PB.
This position can be offered on either:
- A self-employed basis with a strong pipeline of full-time ongoing work, or
- A full-time employed basis depending on the candidate.
For employed positions, this includes:
- Company van
- Company uniform
- Company phone
The Ideal Candidate
We are looking for someone with strong experience in:
- 1st and/or 2nd Fix Carpentry
- High-quality wall and floor tiling
- Making good, plastering, and patch repair works
Any additional building knowledge or trade experience is highly welcomed and will be reflected in both the salary and role responsibilities.

Responsibilities
- Carry out multi-trade tasks including tiling, carpentry, repairs, and general building installations
- Work independently or as part of a wider project team
- Read and interpret schematics and technical drawings where required
- Manage customer expectations with clear communication and technical understanding
- Communicate effectively with clients, colleagues, and project contacts
- Deliver high-quality workmanship with strong attention to detail
- Maintain a safe and clean working environment in line with health and safety regulations
- Assist in diagnosing property maintenance issues and proposing effective solutions
- Provide accurate remedial estimate information including labour, materials, and scope requirements
- Update ongoing job specifications where required throughout projects
Qualifications & Experience
- Proven experience as a Multi Trader, Builder, or Tiler
- Strong background within property maintenance and building works
- Experience in carpentry, tiling, and general building works
- Good understanding of schematics and technical drawings
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Relevant trade qualifications or certifications are preferred
Any additional trade skills or specialist experience will be considered a bonus.
Role Must-Haves
- Full clean UK driving licence
- Ability to provide references
- Examples/photos/videos of previous work demonstrating quality and experience
