This highly regarded firm is looking for an experienced Private Client Solicitor. This is a hybrid role that will allow you to work from home for 2 days per week.
The Role
You will manage a varied caseload of private client matters, including:
- Wills
- Lasting Powers of Attorney
- Probate and Estate Administration
- Inheritance Tax Planning
- Trusts
- Court of Protection matters
- Property Protection and Wealth Management matters
The successful candidate will also be encouraged to participate in the continued growth and marketing of the department and the firm’s services.
Candidate Requirements
- Qualified Solicitor with a valid practising certificate
- Ideally 2 - 10 years PQE
- Proven experience handling a broad range of Private Client matters
- Strong drafting skills relating to Wills, Trusts and LPAs
- Experience dealing with Trust and Estate Administration and IHT planning
- Excellent communication and client care skills
- Ability to work independently and manage a varied caseload
- Strong attention to detail and analytical skills
- Knowledge of relevant laws, compliance and regulations relating to Private Client work
- Full clean driving licence, as travel to clients may occasionally be required
- Ambitious and enthusiastic with a genuine interest in leadership and department growth
Working Pattern
- Full-time preferred, although 4 days may be considered depending on circumstances
- Office hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00am – 5:00pm
- Office-based role
- Hybrid working – 2 days per week from home
