We are currently recruiting for a Cleaning Supervisor to join a professional cleaning team based at a prestigious business and innovation centre in Cranfield.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced cleaner looking to take the next step into a supervisory position or for an existing Cleaning Supervisor seeking a stable, long-term role with opportunities for additional hours and career development.
Working Hours
- Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday
- 6:00pm – 9:00pm
- 12 hours per week
About the Role
You will be responsible for supervising a team of 4-5 cleaning operatives while ensuring the site is maintained to a high standard.
The role will involve:
- Supervising and supporting the cleaning team
- Carrying out cleaning duties for approximately two hours per shift
- Auditing the site during the final hour of each shift to ensure cleaning standards are met
- Providing feedback and guidance to team members
- Managing and allocating ad-hoc cleaning tasks
- Assisting with holiday and sickness cover arrangements
- Reporting issues and liaising with management as required
Requirements
- Previous cleaning supervisory or management experience preferred
- Strong communication and organisational skills
- Ability to motivate and lead a small team
- Good attention to detail and high standards of work
- Reliable with excellent timekeeping
- Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle preferred due to location

Start Date
