Here at Paper Tiger, we’re looking for a confident, skilled, and energetic chef to take the lead on our mobile kitchens at events across the UK.
We are looking for a passionate individual to serve our amazing food, maintain food hygiene standards and deliver an unforgettable experience for our customers.
You’ll be working across festivals, private events, and pop-ups, often in fast-paced, high-volume settings where quality and speed both matter.
This role is ideal for someone looking for a job that varies day to day, who thrives in fast-paced environments and who doesn’t mind life on the move.
This role will be primarily based in the South West with possible further travel for certain events.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Lead all aspects of food prep, cooking, and service from our mobile kitchens
- Deliver consistently high-quality food in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
- Act as the face of the brand, engaging with customers in a friendly, confident way
- Set up and pack down the trailer at events (including equipment and stock). You will be working alongside a catering assistant to assist with this
- Travel to event locations and operate the trailer (towing where required)
- Maintain excellent food hygiene and safety standards at all times
- Manage stock, prep levels, and minimise waste during service
- Work closely with any support staff to ensure smooth, efficient service
- Handle the pressures of busy festival trading with a calm, organised approach
What We’re Looking For
- Proven experience as a chef in a fast-paced kitchen (street food or events is a big plus)
- Confident working solo or leading a small team
- Strong communication skills and a natural customer-facing attitude
- Full UK driving licence (essential)
- Experience driving vans (preferred)
- Experience towing a trailer (preferred)
- Solid understanding of food safety and hygiene standards
- Flexible and happy to work weekends, long shifts and travel for events
- Physically fit and comfortable with the demands of mobile catering

Pay: £13.50-£16.00 per hour
