We are recruiting on behalf of our client for an organised and proactive Office Manager to support the day-to-day running of a busy and fast-paced business.
This is a varied role suited to someone who enjoys managing multiple tasks, keeping operations running smoothly, and providing excellent administrative support across the business.
Key Responsibilities
- Overseeing daily office operations and administration
- Coordinating travel and accommodation bookings for staff
- Managing company vehicle records, servicing schedules, and logistics
- Supporting senior management with diary management, meetings, and general administration
- Coordinating employee training bookings and maintaining training records
- Processing purchase orders, invoices, and tracking office-related costs
- Maintaining company records and document control systems
- Liaising with suppliers and service providers
- Supporting compliance, health & safety, and office procedures
- Identifying and implementing improvements to office systems and processes
About You
We’re looking for someone who is:
- Highly organised with excellent attention to detail
- Confident managing multiple priorities in a busy environment
- Experienced in office management, administration, or operations support
- A strong communicator with the ability to work across all levels of the business
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and general office systems
- Proactive, reliable, and solutions-focused
Desirable Experience
- Experience coordinating travel, accommodation, or fleet logistics
- Financial administration experience including invoices and purchase orders
- Experience working in construction, engineering, or another fast-paced operational environment
