Optical Practice Manager – Grimsby
Independent Opticians | 4 Days a Week | No Weekends | £26,000 to £35,000 Pro Rata
Applicants must have previous Optical Management experience within an Opticians practice.
Zest Optical are working with a long-established independent Opticians in Grimsby to recruit an Optical Practice Manager to join their team.
This is an excellent opportunity to lead a respected independent practice with a loyal patient base, offering a genuine work-life balance with a 4-day working week and no weekend requirements.
The Role
- Independent Opticians established for over 25 years
- 4 days a week, Monday to Friday only
- No weekends
- Salary between £26,000 to £35,000 DOE (pro rata)
- Small, supportive team environment
- Mix of management, dispensing and patient-focused responsibilities
- Opportunity to help develop and grow the practice
The practice is known for delivering a high level of patient care and offers a wide range of frames, including boutique and designer brands, alongside the latest lens technology.
You will be responsible for the day-to-day running of the practice, supporting the team, handling more complex patient queries and ensuring an excellent customer experience throughout.
Requirements
- Previous Optical Management experience is essential
- Must have worked within an Opticians environment
- Strong optical knowledge and understanding
- Applications welcomed from experienced Optical Practice Managers and qualified Dispensing Opticians
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Commercial awareness with the ability to support business growth
- Interest in fashion and eyewear is beneficial
