Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Term Time Nursery Deputy to support our nursery manager and early childhood education team. The successful candidate will assist in the daily running of the nursery, ensuring a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for children.
This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals passionate about childcare and early years development to contribute to a positive learning experience during term time. The Nursery Deputy will work closely with the Nursery Manager and staff to promote excellent practices in early childhood education and child welfare.

Responsibilities
- Assist the Nursery Manager in overseeing daily nursery operations during term time.
- Support planning and delivery of age-appropriate activities that promote learning and development.
- Supervise children, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times.
- SEND co-ordinator
- Lead and motivate nursery staff, fostering a collaborative team environment.
- Maintain effective communication with parents and carers regarding children's progress and daily routines.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, safeguarding policies, and nursery procedures.
- Support the organisation of nursery resources, including toys, learning materials, and equipment.
- Contribute to creating an inclusive, welcoming environment that encourages children's curiosity and independence skills
- Childcare Level 3 qualifications or equivalent recognised within the UK
- Proven management and leadership skills within a childcare setting.
- Extensive experience working with children, ideally within a nursery or early years environment.
- Strong understanding of early childhood education principles and best practices.
- Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team while also demonstrating initiative independently.
- Organised with good time management skills to handle multiple responsibilities efficiently.
Pay: £13.50 per hour
