About the Role:
Zen Educate is currently seeking a dedicated and passionate Teacher to join our team on a full-time basis to support across Additional Learning Needs units in both Newport and Cardiff.
As a Primary Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering engaging and informative lessons to students, fostering a positive learning environment, and supporting the academic and personal development of each student. You will need to have the flexibility to adjust lesson plans according to the pupils you are supporting within the school & have experience working with Autism, ADHD and Visual / Hearing impairments, as well as individuals with global delay.
Requirements:
To be considered for this role, you must meet the following requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent- A degree in Education- ability to manage extremely challenging behaviour- Strong knowledge and understanding of the Wales curriculum- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills- Ability to effectively manage a classroom and create engaging lessons- Commitment to continuous professional development
