Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Cleaning Operative to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards across various commercial and industrial environments. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with a keen eye for detail and a strong work ethic to contribute to a professional cleaning service. Previous janitorial experience and familiarity with commercial cleaning procedures are advantageous but not essential, as training will be provided.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collect and remove litter from bin stores
- Dispose of collected waste in designated areas
- Ensure all areas are left clean and tidy
- Use supplied bags and personal protective equipment (PPE) correctly
- Follow health and safety guidelines at all times
- Report hazards or issues to the supervisor
Requirements:
- Reliable, punctual, and self-motivated
- Able to carry out physical tasks such as walking, bending, and lifting
- No previous experience required (training provided)
Hours & Schedule:
- 3 hours per day, Monday, Wednesday and Friday (6 Hours per Week)
- Hours are flexible

Skills
- Experience in commercial cleaning or janitorial work is desirable but not essential; training will be provided for suitable candidates
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to work independently or as part of a team
- Good organisational skills and the ability to prioritise tasks effectively
- Knowledge of safe handling and use of cleaning chemicals and equipment
- Reliable with a positive attitude towards maintaining high standards of cleanliness
- Ability to follow instructions carefully and adhere to health and safety regulations
