Teaching Assistants – 3 Positions Available
Start Date: September 2026
Now Education are working in partnership with a welcoming and inclusive mainstream primary school in Waterloo (L22) who are looking to appoint three dedicated Teaching Assistants from September 2026.
This is a fantastic opportunity to join a supportive school community and play a key role in helping pupils thrive both academically and personally.
The school currently has the following vacancies available:
- 2 x 1:1 Teaching Assistant roles supporting pupils with additional needs across EYFS and Key Stage 1
- 1 x General Classroom Teaching Assistant role supporting teaching and learning across Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2
The Role:
Depending on the position, responsibilities may include:
- Providing dedicated 1:1 support for pupils with additional learning and developmental needs
- Supporting pupils with SEND, including those with ASD, ADHD, speech and language needs, and social and emotional difficulties
- Assisting with phonics, literacy, numeracy, and classroom-based learning activities
- Supporting pupils' social, emotional, and behavioural development
- Working closely with class teachers, SENCOs, and other support staff to deliver tailored interventions
- Supporting learning across KS1 and KS2 as part of the wider classroom team
- Helping to create a positive, engaging, and inclusive learning environment
What We're Looking For:
- Previous experience working within a UK primary school setting
- Experience supporting pupils with SEND is highly desirable, particularly for the 1:1 roles
- A patient, caring, and proactive approach to supporting children
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- The ability to build positive relationships with pupils, staff, and parents
- A genuine passion for helping children achieve their full potential
