Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Health Care Assistant to join our team. Responsibilities
- Assist residents or clients with daily activities such as personal hygiene, dressing, and mobility
- Support the implementation of individualised care plans in collaboration with senior staff
- Provide companionship and emotional support to service users
- Maintain accurate records of care provided using IT systems
- Communicate effectively with team members, residents, and their families to ensure consistent care delivery
- Assist with meal feeding as required
- Ensure a safe and clean environment by adhering to health and safety protocols
Qualifications
- Previous experience working within a care home or home care setting is desirable but not mandatory
- Good organisational skills with the ability to follow care plans accurately
- Strong communication skills in English, both written and verbal
- Basic IT skills for maintaining electronic records and documentation
- Compassionate attitude with a genuine interest in caring for others
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team and independently when necessary
