About the Role:
As a Cleaning operative, you will play a key role in representing Azurablu Ltd on site, ensuring the highest standards of cleanliness, presentation, and service delivery are consistently achieved across our client environments. This position will involve working within both office and customer-facing areas, requiring a professional approach and strong attention to detail at all times.
You will support the day-to-day management of the evening cleaning operation by coordinating staff, monitoring standards, and ensuring all scheduled cleaning duties are completed efficiently and safely.
Position Details:
- Schedule: Monday - Friday 17:30- 20.30
- Contract: Permanent contract of employment, Min 15 hours per week
- Pay: £13.00 per hour, paid monthly
- Overtime: Available throughout the site, and within other areas of the Company
- Location: Braehead/Hillington Glasgow
Key Duties & Responsibilities
- Carry out all cleaning duties to the standards and frequencies set out for the site
- Ensure all assigned areas are cleaned, sanitised, and presented to a high standard
- Safely use cleaning chemicals, materials, and equipment in line with company procedures and training provided
- Follow all Health & Safety procedures, including the correct use of PPE where required
- Report any maintenance issues, damages, or health & safety concerns to management promptly
- Ensure cleaning equipment and storage areas are kept clean, organised, and secure
- Complete tasks within allocated times whilst maintaining quality standards
- Maintain professional conduct whilst working within client premises at all times
- Support colleagues and work collaboratively as part of the wider cleaning team
- Follow all company policies, site instructions, and security procedures relevant to the location worked within
- Attend training sessions and toolbox talks as required by the Company
- Represent Azurablu Ltd professionally whilst on client sites
What We’re Looking For:
- Previous commercial cleaning experience is essential
- Ability to work independently whilst supporting a wider team environment
- Strong communication and organisational skills
- High standards of professionalism and attention to detail
- Ability to pass a Basic Disclosure Scotland check (paid for by the Company)
