Overview
Join Artex as a Client Accounting Manager. Based in Guernsey, this role offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic and professional environment where your expertise will contribute to delivering tailored insurance and risk management solutions. You’ll play a pivotal role in providing accurate and timely accounting services to clients, boards of directors, and insurance staff, while also driving the development of efficient in-house accounting systems.
How you'll make an impact
In this role, you’ll:

Deliver professional client accounting services, ensuring the timely provision of accurate and complete financial information.

Actively participate in board meetings, presenting financial insights and reviewing minutes and matters arising.

Oversee the preparation and review of management accounts, statutory financial statements, and tax returns, ensuring compliance with UK/US GAAP, IFRS, and other relevant standards.

Prepare budgets, forecasts, and financial reports tailored to client needs.

Manage client funds in line with board strategies, minimising currency and credit risk exposures.

Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, including solvency monitoring and filings with the Guernsey Financial Services Commission (GFSC).

Contribute to the development of the client accounting function and mentor junior team members.
About you

A fully qualified accountant or equivalent experience in a similar role.

Strong technical knowledge of accounting standards and regulatory compliance.
