About Us:
The Ring O’Bells is a welcoming local pub in the heart of Marple, which will be known for our great atmosphere, friendly team, and quality food. The pub has just undergone a complete refurbishment and change of management. All the kjitchen equipment is brand new! Our menu combines traditional English favourites with a selection of tasty tapas dishes, all freshly prepared in-house.
We’re looking for an enthusiastic and reliable cook/chef to join our kitchen team on a casual basis to help us maintain our high standards and support during busy periods.
The Role:
You’ll assist with preparing, cooking, and presenting dishes from our English and tapas menu. Working as part of a small, friendly team, you’ll help ensure food is consistently fresh, well-presented, and served on time.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and cook menu items to a high standard
- Support the team with daily prep and service
- Maintain cleanliness and food safety in the kitchen
- Follow all hygiene and health & safety regulations
- Work flexible shifts, including evenings and weekends as needed
About You:
- Previous kitchen experience preferred, but a positive attitude and willingness to learn are just as important
- Passionate about good food and teamwork
- Reliable, organised, and able to stay calm under pressure
- Food hygiene certificate (or willingness to obtain one)
