Overview
We are seeking a talented and experienced Chef to join our dynamic culinary team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in food preparation, cooking, and kitchen management, with a passion for delivering exceptional dining experiences. Responsibilities
- Oversee daily kitchen operations, ensuring efficient food production and service delivery
- Lead and supervise kitchen staff, providing guidance and training to maintain high standards of performance
- Prepare and cook a variety of dishes in accordance with menu specifications and quality standards
- Manage food safety procedures, ensuring compliance with health regulations and organisational policies
- Coordinate with front-of-house teams to ensure seamless service and customer satisfaction
- Monitor inventory levels, order supplies, and manage stock control to minimise waste
- Develop new recipes and menu items in collaboration with management
- Maintain a clean, organised, and safe working environment at all times
- Assist in training new team members and fostering a positive team culture
Qualifications
- Proven experience in food production, cooking, or as a Chef within a hospitality or restaurant environment
- Supervising experience or team management skills are highly desirable
- Strong knowledge of food safety standards and regulations
- Excellent culinary skills with an understanding of various cuisines and techniques
- Demonstrated leadership abilities with the capacity to motivate and manage staff effectively
- Good organisational skills with the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Previous experience in hospitality or restaurant settings is preferred
- A passion for delivering outstanding customer service through exceptional food quality
