Suffolk Welding and Fabrication Ltd is seeking skilled and experienced Fabricator/Welders and Site Welders to join our growing team.
We specialise in working on port equipment and heavy industrial machinery throughout the UK, alongside some of the country's leading civil engineering and infrastructure companies. Our projects include the manufacture, installation and repair of bridges, structural steelwork, port equipment, marine structures and bespoke industrial fabrications.
Due to continued growth, we are looking for motivated individuals who take pride in producing high-quality workmanship and who can work effectively both in the workshop and on-site.
The Role
- Fabrication and welding of structural and industrial steelwork
- Workshop and site-based work across the UK
- Working on port equipment, bridges and heavy engineering projects
- Manufacturing and installing bespoke fabrications
- Reading and interpreting engineering drawings
- Working safely and professionally to high industry standards
Requirements
- Previous experience as a Fabricator/Welder or Site Welder
- Competent in MIG/MAG (MAGS) and MMA (Stick) welding
- Ability to read and work from engineering drawings
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Full UK driving licence preferred
Desirable
- Previous coded welding experience or qualifications
- Site installation experience
- CSCS card and other site certifications beneficial
What We Offer
- Excellent rates of pay: £16.00 - £22.00 per hour employed, depending on experience and suitability
- Overtime paid at 1.5x hourly rate after 40 hours per week
- Sunday work paid at double time
- Plenty of overtime available
- Company works van and fuel card provided for the right cadidate.
