Job Summary:
We are seeking a caring, motivated, and proactive Early Years Practitioner to join our team in Newport, supporting the delivery of high-quality care and early years education. In this role, you will help create a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment that encourages children’s growth, curiosity, and love of learning.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the planning and delivery of engaging educational activities that promote children’s development.
- Supervise and actively engage with children during play, ensuring their safety, wellbeing, and enjoyment.
- Help maintain a clean, organised, and inspiring nursery environment that supports learning through play.
- Assist the lead educator in managing classroom routines, addressing individual needs, and promoting inclusive practices.
- Contribute to administrative tasks, including accurate record-keeping and progress reporting.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Previous experience in childcare, nursery, or early years settings (essential).
- Qualification or background in Early Childhood Education or a related field (desirable).
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in a team.
- A genuine passion for childcare and creating a warm, inclusive, and welcoming atmosphere for children.
