Job Summary:
We are seeking a compassionate and experienced Senior Care Worker to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing personalized care and support to run a team of care assistants in a care home setting.
Duties:
- Communicate effectively with seniors, management, their families, and healthcare professionals
- Drive the implementation of individualized care plans
- Supervise and support care staff
- Good written skills for documentation and reporting
- Update senior daily diaries, implement hand over to next shift
- Provide leadership and guidance in delivering high-quality care
Experience:
- Proven experience in senior care or a related field
- Strong understanding of senior care best practices
- Ability to supervise and mentor care staff
- Proficiency in writing for documentation purposes
- Excellent communication skills for interacting with carer's, management, families, and healthcare providers.
Requirements:
- Prior experience in senior care is essential, SVQ3 or working towards.
- Ability to drive the implementation of personalized care plans
- Strong leadership skills to supervise junior staff effectively
- Proficiency in writing for documentation and reporting purposes
- Knowledge of care home operations and regulations

Pay: £13.00-£14.50 per hour
Expected hours: 16 – 35 per week
