We are seeking an experienced Powder Coating Supervisor / Manager to oversee daily operations within a busy manufacturing facility based in Dukinfield, Tameside.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the powder coating process, ensuring quality standards are met, and supervising a team of technicians. This role requires strong leadership skills, technical knowledge, and the ability to coordinate multiple tasks efficiently to maintain production flow and safety compliance.
Responsibilities
- Supervising and coordinating daily operations within the powder coating facility
- Leading, motivating, and managing a production team to meet targets and deadlines
- Ensuring all work is completed to high quality and safety standards
- Monitoring equipment performance and ensuring efficient use of machinery
- Identifying and resolving issues quickly to minimise downtime
- Supporting continuous improvement across processes and output
Requirements
- Minimum 3 years’ supervisory experience within a powder coating environment
- Solid knowledge of powder coating plant, processes, and equipment
- Proven ability to manage teams effectively under pressure
- Strong organisational and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work to tight deadlines in a fast-paced setting
- Flexible approach to working hours when require

Hours:
- 6:00am to 2:00pm (flexibility required for potential 2:00pm – 11:00pm shift)
- 37.5 hours per week
