The Olive & Vine is an exciting new independent Kitchen, Bar, Coffee & Tapas venue opening in the heart of Stubbington.
We're looking for an experienced, hands-on Restaurant Manager to help lead our front-of-house team and deliver exceptional customer experiences from day one.
This is an opportunity to join a new hospitality business at launch and play a key role in building a venue that becomes a favourite within the local community.
The Olive & Vine will offer premium coffee, brunch, Mediterranean-inspired tapas, cocktails, wines and our signature Bottomless Buffet experience.
About the Role
As Restaurant Manager, you will be responsible for the day-to-day running of the front-of-house operation, ensuring outstanding customer service, smooth service standards and a welcoming atmosphere.
Working closely with the owner and Kitchen Manager, you'll help establish The Olive & Vine as one of Stubbington's leading hospitality destinations.
This is a hands-on role and will suit someone who enjoys leading by example and being actively involved in service.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead daily front-of-house operations
- Manage and motivate the FOH team
- Deliver exceptional customer service
- Manage bookings and table plans
- Oversee opening and closing procedures
- Handle customer feedback and complaints professionally
- Train and develop team members
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness and presentation
- Support event nights and Bottomless Buffet sessions
- Assist with rota planning and labour control
- Ensure service standards are consistently delivered
- Build strong relationships with regular customers and the local community
What We're Looking For
- Previous restaurant, café, bar or hospitality management experience
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- A passion for customer service and hospitality
- Excellent organisational skills
- Positive and professional attitude
- Ability to perform under pressure during busy services
- Experience with bookings systems and team management
- A hands-on approach to leadership
- Personal Licence Holder preferred but not essential
