Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our healthcare team. This post is for 22 hours per week on Nights. The ideal candidate will possess a strong commitment to providing exceptional patient care and will be skilled in assessing, planning, and implementing nursing care for patients. As a Registered Nurse, you will play a crucial role in promoting health, preventing illness, and supporting patients through their recovery process.
Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients’ health status and needs.
- Develop and implement individualised care plans based on patient assessments.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
- Monitor patients' progress and provide updates to the healthcare team.
- Educate patients and their families about health management and disease prevention.
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation in compliance with regulatory standards.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure holistic patient care.
- Uphold the highest standards of hygiene and safety within the clinical environment.
Skills
- Strong knowledge of patient care principles and practices.
- Proficient understanding of human anatomy and physiology.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively interact with patients, families, and colleagues.
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
