Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and versatile individual to join our team as a Cook/Server on a split role basis. This position involves providing exceptional service to our guests while also contributing to food preparation and kitchen operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering a seamless dining experience, ensuring food safety standards are maintained, and supporting our friendly team as needed. Responsibilities
- Support the chef with food preparation and cooking in the open kitchen, while adhering to food safety regulations
- When not cooking serve food and beverages efficiently and courteously to guests, ensuring high standards of customer service
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of dining areas and kitchen stations
- Ensure all food safety protocols are followed, including proper storage, handling, and sanitation procedures
- Take orders accurately, process payments, and manage table settings
- Collaborate with team members to deliver a smooth and enjoyable dining experience for all guests
- Assist in stock replenishment and inventory management as required
Qualifications
- Previous experience in restaurant service or hospitality industry
- Experience in food preparation, cooking, and meal presentation techniques is essential
- Familiarity with food safety standards and hygiene practices within a kitchen environment
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to multitask effectively during busy periods
- Excellent communication skills and a friendly demeanour when interacting with guests and team members
- Ability to work flexibly on split shifts, including evenings and weekends if required
- A genuine interest in Spanish food and customer service.
