Your responsibilities will include:
- Assist the Head Chef with the effective management of kitchen operations.
- Help in supervising and guiding kitchen staff to ensure smooth daily operations.
- Produce high standards of food from fresh ensuring consistency and quality.
- Manage a section in the kitchen, cooking fresh ingredients to order.
- Follow established recipes while bringing your flair and creativity to the dishes.
- Identify and eliminate wasteful or unprofitable practices to maximize efficiency.
- Control the ordering and storage of food supplies, ensuring minimal wastage.
- Ensure all food safety and hygiene standards are strictly adhered to.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen.
- Be aware of and support the achievement of financial targets through efficient kitchen practices
This role is perfect for:
- Proven experience as a Sous Chef or in a similar role, with a strong background in cooking from scratch using fresh ingredients.
