Lifting Equipment Engineer
Hours: Monday to Friday – Day Shift
Salary: £35,000 – £45,000
A fantastic opportunity has become available for an experienced Lifting Equipment Engineer to join a long-established and highly respected organisation within the lifting and inspection sector. With a strong reputation for technical expertise, high safety standards and quality service, this business supports a diverse customer base across multiple industries.
This role offers the chance to work within a professional engineering team responsible for ensuring lifting equipment is maintained, inspected and operating safely in line with current legislation.
The Role
- Carry out inspection, servicing, maintenance and repair of a wide range of lifting equipment and accessories
- Conduct LOLER thorough examinations and accurately complete all required documentation
- Diagnose faults and carry out repairs both within the depot and on customer sites when required
- Ensure all work complies with health and safety standards, as well as LOLER and PUWER regulations
- Liaise with internal teams and customers to provide technical support and progress updates
The Ideal Candidate
The successful Lifting Equipment Engineer will demonstrate:
- Proven experience working with lifting equipment
- LEEA qualifications are preferred but not essential
- Strong mechanical knowledge and excellent fault-finding ability
- The ability to work both independently and as part of a professional engineering team
- Full UK driving licence
