Overview
We are seeking an experienced Parts Person to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess strong organisational and communication skills, with a keen eye for detail and a proactive approach to the retailing of Parts and stock Management. This role offers an excellent opportunity to contribute to the smooth operation of our workshop and trade customers ensuring parts are accurately tracked, stored, and supplied as needed. Effective communication with diverse teams and suppliers in a necessity. This is a very busy envirinment with enquiries into the business from 8am through to 5.30pm
Responsibilities
- Stock levels by accurately tracking parts stock using both Manufacturer and Dealership, organisational systems
- Assist customers and colleagues via phone with professional etiquette, providing clear information on parts availability and specifications
- Maintain a clean, organised parts storage area, ensuring easy access and safety compliance
- Process incoming and outgoing parts orders efficiently, verifying accuracy before dispatch or receipt
- Liaise with suppliers to order parts as required, ensuring timely delivery
- Support the team with general administrative duties related to parts management
- Communicate effectively across departments, utilising strong verbal and written skills in multiple languages if applicable
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Parts Person or in a similar role within main dealership environment.
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with professional phone manner
- Ability to learn and utilise complex systems, with sometimes repetative information needing loading for stock management, tracking and reporting purposes
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of maintenance procedures related to parts handling is preferred
- Demonstrated attention to detail and accuracy in all tasks undertaken
Pay: £26,500.00-£30,000.00 per year
