Nexus Recruitment are seeking a Block Property Manager for a growing managing agent who is local to the Bromley area. As a business, they manage a variety of stock which spans from London down to Kent. This position has come about due to a period of growth and joining the business now opens up numerous opportunities long term to take on more responsibility as this growth continues.
Core duties:
- Management of a portfolio of circa 300 units in London
- Regular site inspections
- Set & manage service charge budgets as well as year-end accounts
- Where required, carry out Section20 major works from start to finish
- Oversee contractors, ensuring they have the correct permits for work
- Ensuring your portfolio is compliant with current leasehold legislation
- Build a cohesive relationship with all key stakeholders
- Manage your portfolio with a customer led approach
Someone who is self-sufficient and ambitious is ideal for this position. This role is predominantly office based to start with, offering home working after probation/settle in period. The team are incredibly sociable and there are often team events, so someone who is keen to get stuck in to a team environment would be suitable, rather than someone who wants to shy away.
Required attributes:
- 2+ years private leasehold experience
- ATPI desired
- Knowledge of the Building Safety Act
- Personable with a proven ability to build a rapport with key stakeholders
- Clean UK drivers license
