This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who loves working with children and would like to gain a recognised qualification whilst earning and learning on the job.
The Role
As an Apprentice Early Years Practitioner, you will work alongside experienced staff to support children's learning, development and wellbeing.
You will:
- Support children with play, learning and daily routines.
- Help create engaging activities based on children's interests.
- Build positive relationships with children, families and colleagues.
- Assist with meal times, nappy changing and personal care.
- Support children to develop independence and confidence.
- Help maintain a safe, clean and stimulating environment.
- Observe and record children's progress.
- Follow nursery policies and procedures, including safeguarding and health & safety.
- Complete coursework and attend training as part of your apprenticeship programme.

No previous childcare experience is necessary, although experience working with children would be an advantage.
Job Types: Full-time, Fixed term contract
Contract length: 18 months
Pay: £6.40-£8.00 per hour
