Job Summary
We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Restaurant Staff to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidates will be responsible for delivering excellent customer service, assisting with food preparation, and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere for all guests. This role offers an opportunity to develop culinary and hospitality skills within a vibrant dining environment. Previous restaurant experience is advantageous but not essential, as training will be provided to the right applicants.
Duties
- Greet customers warmly and take their orders efficiently
- Serve food and beverages in a professional and courteous manner
- Assist with food preparation and presentation to ensure quality standards are met
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the dining area, kitchen, and service stations
- Follow food safety and hygiene regulations diligently
- Upsell menu items to enhance customer experience and maximise sales opportunities
- Manage tables effectively, ensuring timely service and guest satisfaction
- Handle cash transactions accurately using the point-of-sale system
- Support team members during busy periods to ensure smooth operations
Skills
- Experience in food preparation or restaurant service is desirable but not mandatory
- Strong understanding of food safety standards and hygiene practices
- Good organisational skills with the ability to manage time efficiently during busy shifts
- Basic maths skills for handling transactions and billing purposes
- Previous kitchen or culinary experience is a plus but not essential
- Excellent communication skills with a friendly, professional demeanour
- Ability to work well under pressure and adapt quickly to changing priorities
- Willingness to learn new skills and contribute positively to team efforts
