Kid Ease Swingfield are a supportive, friendly and close-knit team, looking for a qualified Nursery Practitioner who shares our passion for quality early years provision.
OUR SETTING
Tucked down a country lane just off the main road and surrounded by fields, we are still only a short drive or bus ride away from Folkestone and Canterbury. Our setting has a strong bond with the natural world: our forest school-inspired ethos runs through everything we do, the decor is calm and nature-inspired, and children play on the field, seek out tractor tracks and visit the local sheep. We also have well-loved nursery guinea pigs, and a commercial kitchen on site where healthy, balanced meals are prepared daily.
We invest in our staff training and wellbeing, and in getting to know our families exceptionally well, so that we can help give children the best possible start in life - regardless of their background. We were rated Outstanding in every category at our most recent Ofsted inspection and at the inspection before that too, with particular strengths in our effective curriculum, outstanding leadership and management, and strong collaboration with parents.
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
You should be a good team player, positive and keen to provide a secure, happy learning environment for children. A full and relevant Level 2 or 3 Early Years qualification is essential, along with a genuine passion for working with young children and their families. We support children from a range of backgrounds and cultures, and an inclusive approach is at the heart of how we work.
As a key person for a small group of children, you will plan and deliver engaging learning experiences in line with the EYFS framework, build meaningful partnerships with families, and support each child's development with real care and attention.
