An established precision engineering manufacturer in Dorset is looking to recruit an experienced CNC Miller to join its growing machine shop team. The Role
As a CNC Miller, you'll play a key part in the production of bespoke precision-engineered components for commercial and industrial applications.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Offline programming for CNC milling machines.
- Setting and operating 3-axis CNC milling machines.
- Working with Siemens and Haas controls.
- Manufacturing precision components to tight tolerances.
- Reading and interpreting engineering drawings.
- Machining a variety of materials.
- Supporting efficient production within a busy engineering environment.
What They're Looking For
- Previous experience as a CNC Miller or CNC Programmer.
- Strong offline programming experience.
- Experience setting and operating CNC milling machines.
- Ability to read and work from engineering drawings.
- Experience machining precision components to tight tolerances.
- Confidence working with a range of materials.
- A proactive approach and an interest in long-term career progression.
