We are a leading national contractor specialising in passive fire protection, delivering high-quality fire safety solutions across commercial, residential, and public sector projects throughout the UK.
Due to continued growth, we are seeking an experienced Project Manager to oversee and deliver multiple passive fire protection projects nationwide. This role involves managing the full project lifecycle, from initial planning through to completion, ensuring all works are delivered safely, on time, within budget, and in full compliance with current fire safety regulations and industry standards.
The successful candidate will act as a key point of contact between clients, site teams, and subcontractors, maintaining high standards of quality and compliance across all projects. You will play a critical role in ensuring works such as fire stopping, fire door installations, and compartmentation are carried out to the highest standard.

Responsibilities
- Plan and manage passive fire protection projects from start to completion.
- Ensure all work complies with fire safety regulations and building standards.
- Coordinate site teams, installers, and subcontractors.
- Monitor site progress, quality, and installation standards.
- Manage health & safety requirements, including RAMS and CDM compliance.
- Act as the main contact for clients, contractors, and stakeholders.
- Control project budgets, costs, and variations.
- Maintain project documentation, reports, and compliance records.
- Ensure quality assurance, inspections, and certification are completed.
- Deliver projects on time, within budget, and to required safety standards.
Experience
- Minimum 3–5 years’ experience in a Project Manager role within the passive fire protection (PFP) or wider fire safety industry
- Demonstrable experience managing fire stopping, fire doors, fire compartmentation, and/or fire barrier projects
- Proven track record of delivering projects on time, within budget, and to required compliance standards
- BS 476 / EN standards
- Approved Document B (ADB)
- FIRAS, BM TRADA, or equivalent third-party certification schemes
- Experience coordinating with contractors, subcontractors, and client stakeholders on construction projects
- Background in working on commercial, residential, or public sector buildings (e.g. healthcare, education, high-rise)
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment
- Experience in site inspections, quality assurance, and compliance reporting
- Strong understanding of health & safety regulations, including CDM requirements
- Proficient in project management tools and documentation (e.g. programmes, RAMS, O&M manuals)

Pay: £60,000.00-£65,000.00 per year
