Café, Gift Shop and Admissions Team Member
Our admissions, café and shop play an important part of Birdland Park and Garden’s commercial activity and supports our mission to create wonderful days out for the 120,000 guests who visit us annually at our 9-acre site in Bourton on the Water.
This role will be responsible for supporting the team in Admissions, our Café, Shop and even the Ice Cream Kiosk
This is a support role and we are looking for a number of staff to help during holidays, weekends. We are extremely flexible with hours and can even accommodate a few hours a day.
Responsibilities
- Greet and serve customers with a friendly demeanour, ensuring a welcoming atmosphere.
- Serve a variety of customers in our Admissions & Retail facility.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of all areas.
- Assist with inventory management and restocking supplies as needed.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations during busy periods.
- Handle cash transactions and maintain accurate records of sales.
Qualifications
- Strong customer service skills and a friendly demeanour
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Experience in till operations and cash handling.
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations in a customer facing role
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
- Flexibility to work weekdays, weekends, and holidays as required
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: £8.75-£13.00 per hour
